In some cases we may be able to assess your staircase remotely which requires some measurements and photographs of your staircase, however a quick survey is normally much more accurate and avoids any issues that may occur otherwise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-1 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>How long does the stairlift install take?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Straight stairlifts are the easiest and most straightforward to install and will normally only take a couple of hours. A curved stairlift is normally more complicated and would take a little longer, you will be advised how long it should take once we have completed our assessment of the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What happens after the installation is done?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the engineer has finished their work, they will clear your stairs of any dust or debris from the installation, they will then demonstrate to you, how to use your new stairlift and explain how it works and ensure that you are happy and that you understand its functions. The support legs rest on the carpet and are secured with screws, thus may leave some small holes which, with pile carpet &#8211; are barely noticeable. Note: If the stairlift has been fitted a long time, areas under the supports\/feet will not have faded as much as the rest of the carpet.
